Please read!!! Hello my name is Kimberly I’ve been going to advent health urology for about a year seeing Dr Patel, alittle background I have a bladder condition called painful bladder syndrome as well as dealing with a recurring bladder infection. I live about an hr away so I use telehealth for my appointments with DR Patel. I can assure you that I will never recommend someone to be seen by this place or dr Patel ever, I’m disgusted and disappointed in his action that took place during our telehealth appointment today. I have been being treated “incorrectly”by dr patels staff I’ve been given full course antibiotics 6times all displaying different levels of bacteria lowest I was treated for was 7,000CFU the week of July 23 I was having symptoms and even passed something in my urine so I got my urine tested and was given antibiotics by Dr patels staff her names was Nikita I realized it was only a 5 day course so i called back after receiving my positive results and was told I would get a call back, I missed that call in which Nikita informed me through voicemail that they would no longer be treating me the same, and that the small amount of bacteria in my bladder was caused by my vaginal microbiome I tried calling back and they never returned my call but today I had my appointment with dr Patel in which I joined the telehealth call early not only was dr Patel late but he was extremely dismissive when I try to ask questions regarding the way, he’s been treating me prior Because to just switch up completely on treatment Is very confusing to me I had informed him that I went to my gynecologist to ask her opinion about the statement that was made about my vaginal Microbiome and I told him that she respectfully disagreed with the way that you were going about treating me After I said that, I was berated for going to a different doctor to listen to a second opinion (A gynecologist not a urologist) and just a heads up my gyno wasn’t giving me any treatments She was simply giving me her opinion, Dr. Patel told me that he could send me boric acid and that’s all he’s going to do for me and if I wanted to go see another doctor, then I have to stick to it and stop coming back to him as a patient and mixing up my treatments Before I was able to even explain to him that I wasn’t being treated by my gynecologist, simply went to her for a difference of opinion he told me that I was no longer his patient to go find a different doctor After that, he proceeded to hang up on me mid sentence In the middle of our telehealth appointment (he was 2 mins late and ended the call 5 mins early) never ever in my life have I been treated with such disrespect even when I completely disagreed with what he was saying, I still try to hear him out and listen to him AND FOLLOWED ALL TREATMENTS HE GAVE ME but I clearly could not get the same Respect So I’m about to get charged for an appointment that was started late, cut off early, And I was berated in I just got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. My mouth is double the size. So As it is, I was struggling to speak But I was cut off, disrespected, and hung up on By Dr. Patel A “Doctor” Who does not Care about his patients Because if he did, he would actually listen to what I have to say instead of cutting me off and constantly Gaslighting me into thinking that there is nothing wrong with me But not only that if you’re going to say something, make sure you haven’t been treating me the complete opposite way the entire time because if you’re saying you cannot give antibiotics for something less than 100,000 CFU of bacteria Then you definitely shouldn’t have been treating me that way before Again, I was treated this way six times BY YOU that’s on you dr Patel not me and I know that you’re not disrespecting your patient like that in person but I bet it felt good for you to just hang up on a 22-year-old girl begging for your help for the passed year I bet that made you feel like a big man so congratulations and thanks for absolutely nothing but confusion and improper treatment.
