Had a leak in the utilities and a guy came round to have a look and give us a quote. He told us that we had norwegian slates and that they were hard to get, but I said that we have ~20 spares still in good condition that would be plenty for this repair.

We got the quote, we accepted it and asked for their availability. No response at all. 2 weeks go by and someone rings me asking if they can come and fix it in 10 minutes. Nope. I actually had another roofer come round, give a quote and fix it within those 2 weeks that I was waiting for them. And the other roofer said that we have welsh slates, not norwegian

In reply to the comments from the company. I emailed you asking for availability 2 weeks ago, right after accepting the quote and I never got an answer. Calling someone on the day and just giving 10 minutes notice is so bad, and the fact that you don't see that is even worse

Phoned on Friday morning, didn't expect anything to be done about the tiles that had come off, during the recent bad weather, until the following week. A visit from them in the afternoon, tiles replaced and all fixed. Very fast, friendly and good price. Highly recommended.

Found I had 6 other smashed tiles from that storm, unable to be seen from the ground, would have been extremely obvious from high up from the roof while the 3 that were missing were replaced. Another roofer had to be called in to check the roof after C & M roofing visit to replace those smashed tiles. Sadly water damage had already happened, not impressed.

Update 9th of August.
In reply to the companies response. None of the "hip" tiles had come off. There was no further wind issues at the time and the smashed tiles were not "hairline" cracks at the time of your companies visit as the replacement roofer took me up onto the roof to show me the smashed tiles your company missed. The issue was definitely not sorted on the 1st visit.

After countless small repairs by other Contractors that didn’t rectify our leak, I contacted C&M Roofing for a quote. I’m so glad I found them, they were very professional, courteous and carried the repair out to a high standard and we’ve had no more leaks. I would highly recommend them for any roof work and I would definitely use them again.

Called last Friday. Advised would call me back in 10mins! 4 hours later I called them again and arranged for someone to come over today. Waited in all day and they didn’t show up and no phone call!!
How you can run a business like this is beyond me! Very poor show!!!!

Fantastic all round service whole new roof was done. Great communication throughout the job. All boys friendly and respectful worked quickly and efficiently and very tidy. Work completed quicker than expected minimum disturbance caused to everyday life.Any small issue e.g sky dish signal going was seen to promptly Care taken when dog needed out. Also kindness and respect given to elderly home owner.
Cannot highly recommend them enough and great price for work carried out. I'm glad to have found an honest and reliable company after having a few bad experiences with other companies.
Before new roof they have done a few jobs all done professionally and efficiently

I needed a roof repair, water coming into loft. Phoned C&M, John came out went up in roof told me what was wrong and what was required. Sent me a quote smartly. Accepted his quote and he sent 2 men out who did a professionally and speedy job. Work area was cleaned up and all left over materials taken away.

Got a new roof in 2016 from C&M they were so good we have just used them again this week to get our roughcasting done. John found a broken tile on our extension roof which we were unaware of & replaced this for us (very grateful). Amazing job from a hardworking team & everything cleaned up even washed my front window. So happy with the finished job. Can strongly recommend C&M roofing & roughcasting.

I would ignore the other pompous review about a garage roof being a couple of millimetres off. I have recently had my roof, guttering and skylight replaced and they have done an excellent job! Courteous, informative and hard working. They even cleaned up afterwards. Would highly recommend!
