If you’re looking for a new kitchen or bathroom or just need to jazz up what you’ve got then I’d highly recommend Eddie and his team!

We originally used Eddie to install our new kitchen, and because we felt in such good hands with him we then went on to use him to supply and fit our main bathroom along with him rectifying mistakes that were made by another company in our en-suite.

More recently we had a member of Eddie’s team back out to install our kitchen island for us. And once again the finish was fantastic.

With Eddie and his team I feel as though we’ve built a relationship now where I’d certainly go to them for all my kitchen and bathroom needs. Every time without fail they’ve delivered exactly what we’ve asked for, he’s come to the rescue and helped me out when things went wrong.

All his team are professional but work to a high standard leaving the best result. Eddie was even able to offer us really great prices on our bathroom and was able to save us a lot of money.

[updated] This clown tried to keep over a thousand pounds of our money for less than four hours work by his own sub-contractor and a toilet… He’s fond of declaring “I’m a professional” and every time you raise a concern you can expect to be met with a defensive assertion of his credentials. In actual fact he is a rude, extortionate hack of a builder who appears to be so busy raking in money and work through Wickes that he has precious little time to actually do the work he’s charging for. The point at which we threw the job out was when his own sub-contractor halted all works and demanded £400 cash in hand to level the walls. This was on top of Wickes fitting charges, and Eddie’s additional fitting charges that had already been agreed to. We cancelled the order and installation having lost all faith in those involved. We ended up having to leverage Wickes’ goods against the job to get some of our money back as Wickes refused to honour any refunds from Eddie their sub-contractor, Eddie himself flat refused us any refunds. It has been a painful and infuriating waste of time and money, fortunately we were able to find an honest professional who has provided us with a first rate bathroom for less than half the cost of Wickes and their cowboys. Lessons learned: hire contractors yourself and buy the goods that you want from the retailers, don’t go to Wickes and have them divide your job up between their own salesmen, sub-contractors and suppliers, there is no accountability if something goes wrong, they just pass the buck and stick together as thick as thieves, even their complaints department are self serving and only concerned with protecting their own interests. Even now we have a toilet which Eddie charged us over £400 for including the installation cost, despite the fact that it was also the wrong toilet for the job, he has refused to accept it back for a refund (it’s still in its box in the shed). The pictures shown are of the bathroom (which I removed for Eddie in preparation for the job). The ripped up plasterboard and the open sewer pipes show the sum total of works carried out by Eddie’s sub-contractor, he disconnected and removed the bath, basin and toilet, and drilled two holes for the shower… that’s as far as he got, thankfully we wised up before any more money changed hands as we would have lost that too. In hind sight Eddies’ claim that he could tile the bathroom in a day and have the whole job done in 3 should have told us all we needed to know. Avoid like the plague.

Update: It seems that Eddie is not above trying to intimidate his growing dissatisfied customer base with cockamamie letters that he’s evidently cobbled together himself in a fit of peak after reading his Google reviews. He recently sent such a letter to me claiming that he was going to take me to "the high court" for writing this review, claiming loss of earnings on a contract that HE broke by trying to extort money from us! The letter is formulated in such a way that he appears to be largely quoting some sort of 'legal representative?' stating that this issue won't be pursued if we remove our negative review within 14 days! I’m guessing that Eddie routinely sends out these letters to frighten people into recanting their HONEST appraisals of his “business”. I’m in the process of speaking to trading standards, I’m sure they will be very interested to see Eddie’s laughable attempt at covering up the wake of misery he seems to leave wherever he goes. In light of this letter I am also beginning to question the legitimacy of his five star reviews, you have to ask yourself what lengths this man will go to to keep his star rating up. This would be funny if it wasn't so infuriating. I tried to add a scan of the letter but it just messed up the pictures :/

Excellent. A first-class job. Showroom staff were friendly with a wealth of practical advice if required. Installers were cheerful and friendly too, keeping me informed of progress throughout the job and seeking my opinion wherever there was more than one possibility to an aspect of the install. They demonstrated great expertise. Not only was their work-rate impressive but also the quality of their work was excellent. They cleared up after themselves well too. I was thoroughly pleased with this project & will use C & C again. I recommend them.

Recently had new Bathroom supplied and Installed by this company.

Really pleased with the finish and have had several comments as to how lovely it looks.

The owner was extremely patient with us whilst we took our time to choose the pottery, Tiles etc and gave us some good ideas.

All staff involved were professional and helpful throughout.

Would definately recommend and would use again.

Eddie, Mark, and the team of plasterer, tiler and electrician were polite, efficient, a pleasure to have in our home and completed works to a high standard. Just be careful, I got a quote and when I didn’t want some of the work done ie not having a new sink, tap to provide cold water and waste pipe put in and not changing the taps on a basin, but had a new shower screen over the bath instead, they tried to tell me that it was the same price, I don’t believe that it was as they only took 1/2 a day to do the work. They refused to give me a breakdown on what they had done, which is odd, it’s like saying I will fix your car but won’t tell you what I used.
If you choose this company just be careful, but there was no problem with the work.
