Great place to see live music. The acts they get here are incredible. Small, intimate venue with good sound and decent selection of draft beer and good wine.

great place on campus. you can study and eat there during the day and go to concerts, movies, and events at night. very cozy space and great atmosphere.

The loft is great, consistent pro staff, good food and drink. The public should know, the hours are variable and special events and bookings close the whole place down from time to time. They serve a University public, very well at that. More oriented toward UCSD community and special events. All good.

The Loft at UCSD is a nice open venue with a variety of vantage points that one can choose from. Tucked away in the large campus of UCSD, the venue sits on a second floor of a student union building of some type. The staff are friendly, and mostly college students as well. The bar was lacking, as the three beers listed as available that my group asked for were out of stock, which was disappointing (wasn’t in the mood for an IPA). The show was incredible, as Julia Holter is one of the best indie artists out there. It could have just been the range but the speakers were cracking at some points, but it seemed to me that it was mixed well. Not a regular venue that I frequent, but certainly would not be opposed to returning if there was another artist I liked that was playing.

Nice and cozy place to decompress and recharge. FWIW one of the few places that serves alcohol on campus. Usually not overcrowded; very few undergrads. Their happy hour is particularly worth visiting.

dont get the turkey club. the arnold palmer is really good. also the handcut fries are good. fast service
